Vernon Priddy has practiced law since 1982 and, for the past twenty years, has focused his practice in the appeal of various types of civil cases in the appellate courts located in Virginia. He has handled appeals on cases tried by other Two Rivers lawyers as well as other lawyers at his former firm. He also handles appeals of cases for clients represented at trial by other firms. Not including cases handled only at the petition stage in the Supreme Court of Virginia, he has litigated over 175 appeals in the Supreme Court of Virginia, the Court of Appeals of Virginia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Of these cases, more than 150 have been before Virginia’s Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.

In conjunction with his extensive appellate experience, Vernon continues to appear frequently before the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission and in Virginia’s trial courts.

Activities

Outside his law practice, Vernon enjoys cooking with his wife, singing in his church’s choir, spending time with his two adult children and being walked by his dog.
